Green Party deputy leader Amelia Womack is visiting Suffolk on 5th June to meet new and existing members of Babergh Green Party.
She will be speaking at the newly refurbished Fleece pub in Boxford.
The Greens in South Suffolk won four seats on Babergh District Council on May 2nd. Leader of the new Green group Robert Lindsay said: “ We have had quite a rush of new members and supporters in recent weeks and we thought it was a good time to get everyone together, both to hear their views on what they think their new councillors should be doing and to hear the bigger picture across the country from Amelia.”
We are meeting in the Corder Room at The Fleece, 8-10 Broad St, Boxford, Sudbury CO10 5DX, from 7.30pm, on Wednesday June 5. This is a wheelchair-accessible venue.
All members are welcome. Please do come along!
